: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the tail pipe.   Using 100-051, cut the tail pipe at the point indicated by a depression in the pipe.   Disconnect from the exhaust hanger.

:   Do not tighten the retaining clamp at this stage. Install the tail pipe.   Clean the components.   Install the retaining clamp.

Align the tail pipe and tighten the retaining clamp to 55 Nm (40 lb.ft).
